Good new song...it's been a while. Thank you Pearl Jam!

Just Breathe

Yes I understand that every life must end, aw huh,..
As we sit alone, I know someday we must go, aw huh,..
I’m a lucky man to count on both hands
The ones I love,..

Some folks just have one,
Others they got none, aw huh,..

Stay with me,..
Let’s just breathe.

Practiced are my sins,
Never gonna let me win, aw huh,..
Under everything, just another human being, aw huh,..
Yeh, I don’t wanna hurt, there’s so much in this world
To make me bleed.

Stay with me,..
You’re all I see.

Did I say that I need you?
Did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn’t now I’m a fool you see,..
No one knows this more than me.
As I come clean.

I wonder everyday
as I look upon your face, aw huh,..
Everything you gave
And nothing you would take, aw huh,..
Nothing you would take,..
Everything you gave.

Did I say that I need you?
Oh, Did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn’t now I’m a fool you see,..
No one know this more than me.
As I come clean.

Nothing you would take,..
everything you gave.
Hold me till I die,..
Meet you on the other side.

Hard Rain

Oh, where have you been, my blue-eyed son?
And where have you been, my darling young one?
I`ve stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains,
I`ve walked and I`ve crawled on six crooked highways,
I`ve stepped in the middle of seven sad forests,
I`ve been out in front of a dozen dead oceans,
I`ve been ten thousand miles in the mouth of a graveyard,
It`s a hard, and it`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard,
It`s a hard rain`s a-gonna fall.

Oh, what did you see, my blue-eyed son?
And what did you see, my darling young one?
I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves all around it,
I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it,
I saw a black branch with blood that kept drippin`,
I saw a room full of men with their hammers a-bleedin`,
I saw a white ladder all covered with water,
I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken,
And it`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard,
It`s a hard rain`s a-gonna fall.

What did you hear, my blue-eyed son?
And what did you hear, my darling young one?
I heard the sound of a thunder that roared out a warnin`,
I heard the roar of a wave that could drown the whole world,
Heard one hundred drummers whose hands were a-blazin`,
Heard ten thousand whisperin` and nobody listenin`,
I heard one person starve, I heard many people laughin`,
Heard the song of a poet who died in the gutter,
And it`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard,
It`s a hard rain`s a-gonna fall.

Who did you meet, my blue-eyed son?
Who did you meet, my darling young one?
I met a young child beside a dead pony,
I met a white man who walked a black dog,
I met a young woman whose body was burning,
I met a young girl, she gave me a rainbow,
I met one man who was wounded in love,
I met another man who was wounded in hatred,
It`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard,
It`s a hard rain`s a-gonna fall.

Oh, what`ll you do now, my blue-eyed son?
And what`ll you do now, my darling young one?
I`m a-goin` back out `fore the rain starts a-fallin`,
I`ll walk to the depths of the deepest dark forest,
Where the people are many and their hands are all empty,
Where the pellets of poison are flooding their waters,
Where the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison,
The executioner`s face is always well hidden
Where hunger is ugly, where souls are forgotten,
Where black is the color and none is the number,
And I`ll tell it and think it and speak it and breathe it,
Reflect it from the mountain so all souls can see it,
Then I`ll stand on the ocean until I start sinkin`,
But I`ll know my song well before I start singin`,
And it`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard, it`s a hard,
It`s a hard rain`s a-gonna fall.

It`s a hard rain`s a gonna fall
It`s a hard rain`s a gonna fall

This makes me sad

I bought my first new car and the car I have now from this place and my dad worked here for years. They are the nicest people. I wouldn't buy a car from anyone else. My family has bought all of our cars from them and so have our friends. Ok, you get the point.

Apparently GM doesn't share my opinion, the don't want to renew their contract. This really pisses me off! Companies like this are what America is all about, if people only shopped at small businesses then maybe we would be in better shape.

I just don't understand why they would shut the down! Their sales numbers are some of the best in the state.

I'm calling GM today. I'm very upset! If they shut them down I will give GM my money ever again!

Fishing

We found a couple cool fishing spots today. Dennis caught two trout, I caught weeds. We had a picnic then it stared to pour so I took shelter under the bridge so my camera wouldn't get wet.

First catch of the season

Another great weekend

The weather was awesome again this weekend! Nothing too crazy happened, just a mellow weekend. How great was the Kentucky Derby? Amazing!!! This is the one sporting event that I get excited for. Love the horses, the hats and it's over in a couple minutes. Beautiful. What's not to love? I was rooting for General Quarters (it was a nice story), Dennis wanted Chocolate Candy (I think he was just hungry) and my dad wanted the Nile, whatever his name was, he can pick a horse! I really bugs be that in today's paper there was only a small article about the winner. He ran an truly amazing race, so what if he's not a millionaire and the owner drove his pick up truck to the race while smoking Marlboro Reds and blasting country music and drinking cheap coffee (I'm guessing, he just seems like a down to earth redneck). It should have been front page news!!

( I don't know why the typeface changed)

Sunday I mowed my parents lawn for the first time this year, always a good sign! Then Alicia and I took Ben to the playground at the Fort, man was he cute on that swing, it was his first time:) But I forgot my camera:( I'm such a a bad auntie, I made it up to him later by switching the kitchen light on and off, it's so easy to entertain a one year old, well, 13 months, he's so big!

Here are a few pics from the Fort on Saturday. I was a bit irritated when we pulled in, there was trash in the picnic area, who the hell litters in the Fort? Come on now! Fort Williams is by far one of the most beautiful parks in the state and it's free! We picked up as much as we could before the locked us in (the park was closing) actually, there's a new gate and you can't get locked in, so fancy.

This could have been a great family photo if I opened my eyes!

My handsome suitor.

The Mansion looks haunted in this light.

Happy

Serious.

I could take pictures of waves all day.

I nailed it yo!

I got the nail it award!!!!!!

Twice a month we nominate people who have done a great job and my boss nails a $50 bill to a piece of wood from an apple tree in his yard.

My boss in NY nominated be for doing record number of photo research requests this month and all the work I've done with keywording and editing the collection and another coworker nominated me for coming up with a new marketing idea-I thought we should make a reusable grocery bag with our logo on it to send to clients to promote our new Green Collection ( www.auroraphotos.com/greenhub.shtml) and for helping out with the keywording tips that they send out to photographers.

I've been working my ass off lately!! It's nice to work for a company that recognizes hard work!!!

Can you say global warming?

This weekend was freakishly hot!!!! But it felt sooo nice!
I cleaned up my section of the yard, it's still kind of ghetto but it's nice to sit back there.
Is it Monday tomorrow already??? Why?? Not fair!!! Work has been so busy!I really needed this weekend to unwind!

Keeda enjoying a stick. We were outside all day today and she stayed in the yard!!!! I'm so proud of her, she's really turned out to be a good dog!

Such a pretty girl! I think she saw a bug, her favorite thing!

The chairs I found at the dump and the table I'm refinishing the background.

The chairs I found on the side of the road and painted a couple years ago (they need a touch up:) and the table I found at the dump. Also in this picture is my new phone, all the buttons work and I can hear people when they call!

Baby Ben!!

Keeda saved me while Denis chuckled

Last night we were all on the bed and Keeda was playing ball, on the bed then Dennis got off the bed and somehow I started to fall off the bed. Keeda thought she would come to my rescue and lick me to death, I mean turbo charged doggie kisses.
Dennis laughed.

Don't worry, I've recovered from the fall.

Look who's one!

Baby Ben turned one last week! It's crazy how fast he's growing up. If you rub his tummy he smiles and giggles, kind if like those stuffed animals in that one special isle of the toy store, you know, the ones you hit then run just to make sure all the store employees hate you!

In other new Fred is doing so well with my parents. He has a very loud bark, one might think he was a mean dog, he just wants you to know he's there:) He's so good with my dad, he said he likes walking with him because he walks the same speed as him, too cute! When they're home he follows my moms every move. He ate a head of lettuce the other day. I still miss Jack.

I'm not sure where the weekend went.

Weekend in the Country

We went up to the country this weekend. Pat, Dennis's brother was supposed to join us but he couldn't get a flight. We left Saturday morning, we never seem to leave on time when we go up there. The ride up was kind of ridicules, we made a few stops near the mall, I hate the mall especially on Saturdays. When did the turnpike go up to a dollar? News to me, I gave the dude 60 cents and started driving off and he yelled at me. Yes, I'm one of the 5 people in the world with out EZ-Pass. We got there eventually.

It was Eileen's birthday and we got her these glass balls that you fill with water, you know, the ones on TV. Well, they look cool but I'm not sure they actually water the plant! Then we helped his dad install a new light in the dining room. Yeah, that was fun. But it looks awesome! Later on we went out to eat at this cute little restaurant near them.

We had a good time, it was really nice to get away. I have pics but I got rid of roadrunner a my house because we're getting it for free soon!

Last week was supposed to be Dennis's last week of training but since there were so many lines down from last Monday's storm they had him stay here and work. Today he thought this was going to be his last week and he packed his bags, again and got up at 4:30, again and it was cancelled....AGAIN! So annoying! I'm really looking forward to a normal schedule!

After the snow

I know, lots of puppy pics lately, she's been my little buddy when Dennis was away, but this is his last week of training! I'm so happy!

This weekend was nice and relaxing. Friday we got some wine then went out to Ev's for a couple. Saturday we went out for Thai food then got some gelato, yummy! I ran into my cousin in Portland, for some reason I never recognize her at first, she's all hip now!

Next weekend we're headed to Dennis's parent's house for Ma Steck's birthday, Pat is flying in too.

RIP Jack

Tomorrow at this time Jack (my parents dog) will be gone. He's had a bad couple of days, he can't walk very well and he can't keep anything down. Poor little guy. It's so hard to watch him be in so much pain. My mom had a long talk with the vet and they made the difficult decision to put him down tomorrow. I think my dad said it best "well, it's been fun!"

My parents got baby Jack when I was a sophomore in college after my beloved Nugget passed away. When I moved back to Maine and lived with my parents Jack would come into my room every morning and snuggle with me. During those rough couple of years sometimes that was the only way I could get out of bed.

My two babies at the house at Willard.

He lived on my bed.

All dressed up for Christmas.

My babies sleeping. Jack hated Dennis at first, he was very protective of me:)

Waiting for treats with Rocky.

He LOVED Chicken!

I'll Miss You Jack!!!!!!!!!!
