My Thanksgiving Vacation
Hi!
So I just have not felt like writing a blog lately!
Not much has been going on. Peak starts this week at LL Bean so I'll be working my ass off.
Thanksgiving was pretty fun. We went up to Dennis's parents house. Our friends Nate and Theresa came up with their baby Axel. Dennis's brother Ben is friend with Nate and they have been living in London for a while and they just moved around the corner from us, random! Anyway, we left in the morning and had a really nice day! I drank! a lot! I haven't drank in soooo long! I witnessed some serious ping pong games, it's big time in the Steck household! My parents were up the street at the Cole's so they came over for dessert. ELTON MADE ME A COCONUT CREAM PIE!!!!!!!!!! A little side note..Elton is Megan's dad and he makes, by far, the best coconut cream pie EVER!!!!!! I shared half and we took the other half home, we ate half a pie in two days! So good!

You may not see me for a while!
This week I start my second job working at LL Bean during the holiday season. I have training this week so I'll be working my normal job 8-4 then LL Bean 4:30 -11. I love my life.
I spent most of Saturday cooking, my freezer is now packed. I will have no time to do pretty much anything this week I figured I would cook now since Dennis will be taking care of the four legged monster all be himself and (hopefully) doing the dishes and keeping the house clean, I think he got the better end of the bargain!:)
Also on Saturday we took baby Ben to LL Bean for the first time, he didn't seem amused :) Saturday night we sent to my brother and sister in law's house for dinner, he made some yummy wings and I played guitar hero for the first time, not amused, I suck!
Sunday I got up early and went back to bed then had coffee in bed. This is one of my favorite things to do!!!!
That's it for now, I'm going to try to take nap before the madness starts at 4:30.

We stayed at my sister in law's parents house Saturday night. The place is so cool! it has a bar, pool table and a hot tub!! We had to take care of 5 dogs!

Long weekend
I am so tired!
Friday morning I took Keeda for a run and two huge mastifs attacked her! So scarey!!!! I looked her over and didn't see any blood so I thought she was ok.
Friday night I went o camp with work. It was so cool, right on the lake. I met the editor of National Geographic and the guy who invented Patagonia. Then I got drunk with my coworkers and photographers.
Then I got a call from Dennis, he had called earlier but I left my phone in the cabin. He said the mastifs must have bit her on her stomach cause it was swollen so he took her to the emergency vet. I got this message later in the night and freaked out and drove home.
Turns ok she'll be ok. We got some pills and we have to wash her cut a few times a day.

Here I am!
So it's been a while.
I love my new job! I mean honestly this is the best job I've ever had! I'm sure I'll start complaining about something soon but for now I really love it! The people are pretty cool, we even do yoga on Thursdays during lunch, how cool is that!

I got a new job!!!!!!!!
After four years of painting I finally got a photography job!!
On the 18th I will be a photo researcher at Aurora Photos
The job is similar to what I did in NY but this place is way better!
I am SOOO excited! The office is so hip and the people are really nice and I can wear nice clothes!

More big news....Today is my 6 month no smoking anniversary!

Weekend
We didn't do too much this weekend. Friday we stayed in.
Saturday we painted our bedroom. We're not supposed to paint but the boring white walls we're driving me crazy. I painted it a darker color and now it's a lot cozier! Saturday night Alicia and Ben came over for dinner. Ben is getting sooo big! Keeda still doesn't know what to think of him!
Sunday we went to for a nice bike ride on the Sprauge road. In a bike or a car my lungs still hurt from that road :) I think Alicia is the only one who will get that joke!:):)

A Little Update
Here's what's been going on, the picture version:)
Belinda and Sean came up for my 30th birthday. We went on the boat and it was choppy. we went to Ev's and it was full of wierdo's. We went to Empire Dine and Dance to see Jerks of Grass and people were so loud that we couldn't hear the bad. Then we went to Denny's and the waitress spilled water on me :) Then a limo brought us home. We were so drunk!!!
Baby Ben is now 6 pounds!!
Us. I got my hair chopped and I got a few bangs too. I Love it!
We went to his parent's house for the 4th. Here he is walking down to the creek to go fishing. I was a short trip. Summer in Maine+Tall Grass=Lots of bugs!!!!
